The Kansas volleyball team continued its winning ways during the spring portion of its schedule after defeating Wichita State in four sets in Charle Koch Arena on Thursday.
Kansas dropped a 25-18 decision in the first set before storming back to win the next three sets against WSU. KU recorded a 25-19 win in the second set, while its most-convincing victory was a 25-13 win in the third set.
The Jayhawks finished things off with a 25-15 victory in the fourth set. They inched their way closer to .500 on the year, improving to 9-10 overall. The Shockers fell to 8-6 on the season after a home loss to their in-state foe.
A trio of KU players finished with double-digit kills on Thursday. Anezka Szabo led the way with 15 kills for Kansas. Jenny Mosser recorded her second-consecutive double-double with 11 kills and 15 digs, while Ayah Elnady tallied 10 kills with a team-leading four aces.
Elise McGhie finished with 40 assists, while Kennedy Farris recorded 22 digs. As a team, the Jayhawks have won four consecutive matches while posting a 12-3 advantage in sets over that stretch.
Kansas will host Wichita State at 4 p.m. Saturday in the Horejsi Family Volleyball Arena.
