No. 9 Kansas couldn’t overcome a slow start in a 77-69 loss to No. 2 Baylor Monday night in the Ferrell Center in Waco, Texas.

Kansas (10-4, 4-3 Big 12) had two players finished in double figures, including 17 points from sophomore guard Christian Braun. Junior guard Ochai Agbaji also scored 16 points.

Baylor (13-0, 6-0) was led by a game-high 30 points from junior guard Jared Butler in the win.

Kansas has lost back-to-back Big 12 games for the first time since dropping three in a row during the 2012-13 season.

KU will travel to Oklahoma on Saturday.
