After a two-week break in the schedule, the Kansas volleyball team returned to action with a five-set loss to Oklahoma on Friday night at Horejsi Family Volleyball Arena.

The Jayhawks won the opening set, 25-20, and took a 2-1 lead after winning the third set, 25-19. But the Sooners responded by winning the next two sets — 25-23 and 18-16 — to win the match.

The loss — KU’s sixth straight setback — dropped the Jayhawks to 11-9 on the season and 3-6 in Big 12 Conference play.

KU and Oklahoma (10-10, 4-5) will conclude their season series at 4 p.m. Saturday at Horejsi.
